Caroline Birmingham is all about bringing artists' creative visions to life in the studio, creating unforgettable moments on stage, supporting independent artists and pushing creative boundaries.

Her abstract, holistic and open-minded approach to music production and mixing caters to artists' individuality while pushing their artistic limits. Her work has traversed a wide range of genres including alt-rock, synth-pop, EDM, hip-hop, rap, gospel and soul, and Contemporary Christian.

Mentored by Dove-Award-winning producer, mix engineer and guitarist Stephen Leiweke (Nashville, TN), Caroline works remotely and in studios and live music environments around the Southeastern United States. Her home project studio, located in Wilmington, NC, features nearly $20,000 of professional instruments, hardware and software for music production.

In the live music world, Caroline has served as a mix engineer, monitor engineer, backline tech, RF tech, lighting designer, LED video designer and Ableton Live tech, having also assisted the technical crews of TobyMac and Jeremy Camp. Proficient with nearly ten instruments, she has performed with a huge catalog of artists including Eli Mosley, SEU Worship, Destiny Elle, Annelise Gonzalez, Odessa Wieland, Quinn Cosens, Omega Spencer, Author, Jared Drake, Jessica Jarvis and Luke LaPrad.

Caroline Birmingham is a musician, music producer, mix engineer, film composer and writer.

Writing

Caroline is Editor-in-Chief of The Wave — a music journalism community that creates bios, feature articles, interviews and electronic press kits for independent musicians. She formerly worked as an indie rock album reviewer for Mxdwn.com and a creative writer for WeAreSEU Magazine at Southeastern University.

Radio & Film

Caroline is a former radio DJ for 93.7 FM WSEU in Lakeland, FL, where The Wave began as The Wave Alternative Radio Show — a radio program that featured unconventional music and local indie artists.

In the film world, Caroline contributes her composition, music production and audio engineering skills to independent filmmakers. A three-time Best Sound award-winner at the Fire Film Festival in Lakeland, FL, Caroline has scored music for the critically acclaimed films “Fairytale” (Delaney Kunkle), “Love Vendetta” (Steven Ascari), “A Fistful of Lead” (Dempsey Lee Birmingham III) and “In Your Name” (Jerome Bowers). “A Fistful of Lead”, written and directed by Caroline’s brother Dempsey Birmingham, received an Academy Award (Oscar) of Recognition for Best Christian Short Film.
